Rather //

I'd rather = I would rather (동사원형) = 차라리 (동사원형) 하겠어

I'd rather eat salad.

I'd rather go home.

Nah. I'd rather do it myself.

 

Ready //

Be Ready + for (명사) = (명사)에 대한 준비가 되어있다.

Are you ready for your piano lesson?

   lesson = 레슨,  ready = 준비가 된

Are you ready for the show?

I am not ready for this.

 

Really = 정말로

I was really stupid.

I am sorry, dude. I was really selfish.

   selfish = 이기적인 <=> selfless = 이타적인

They were really rude.

 

Really not > not > not really = 별로 아닌

I am not really interested.
I don't know, and I don't really care.

   care = 상관하다 / 신경 쓰다.

I don't really drink.

I don't really exercise.

 

Recommend = 추천하다

Can you recommend (명사)? = (명사)를 추천해 줄 수 있나요?

Let me recommend (명사) = (명사)를 추천할게.

Are you serious?  Let me recommend some romantic spots.

   spot = 자리 / 곳   == place

Can you recommend a cute cafe?

Can you recommend a few restaurants?

Can you recommend a good chair?

   chair = 의자,  desk = 책상

Can you recommend a good movie?

Let me recommend a good repair shop.
Let me recommend a few places.

Let me recommend a good nail shop.

 

Rely + on (명사) = (명사)에 의존하다 / 기대다

I don't want to rely on techonolgy.

   thchnology = 기술 / 테크놀로지

Don't rely on it.

We rely on gas.

 

Remember //

Do you remember (명사)? = (명사) 기억나?

Do you remember my birthday?

Do you remember the date?

Do you remember your first love?

Do you remember your first dog?

 

Respond to (명사) = (명사)에 답하다.

Don't responds to his message.

He finally responded to us.

She naver responds to my messages.

 

Right //

(평서문), right? = (평서문)이지?

You are coming to my graduation. right?

   graduate = 졸업하다 vs graduation = 졸업(식)

You are not coming, right?

You guys are coming, right?

This is not yours, right?

 

Right now = 지금 당장

   apology = 사과,  apologize = 사과하다

Ring up (명사) = (명사)를 계산에 넣다 / 계산하다.

Room //

Do you have a room + with (명사)? = (명사)가 있는 방이 있나요?

Do you have a room with a queen-size bed?

   room = 방 / 여유(관사 없을 때)

Do you have a room with a double-size bed?

Do you have a room with a single-size bed?

Do you have a room with single beds?

 

Run large = (사이즈가) 크게 나오다

   <=> Run small 

These shoes run large.

   Try = 시도해 보다 / 입어보다 / 먹어보다

 

Run + into (목적어) = (목적어)를 마주치다 / 우연희 만나다.

   = dump into

Running late = 늦어지고 있는 = running behind schedule

   late = (형) 늦은 / (부) 늦게

   I'm early = 나 이르게 가고 있어.

Rose says She is running late.
