   lesson = 레슨,  ready = 준비가 된

   Be Ready + for (명사) = (명사)에 대한 준비가 되어있다.

   Are you ready for the show?

   I am not ready for this.

 

Z Wait. My music book is playing hide-and-seek with me.

   music book = 음악 책

   Play hide-and-seek = 숨바꼭질하다

   play tag = 술래잡기하다

   Do you want to play hide-and-seek?

   It's time to play hide-and-seek !

 

 

Z I swear I left on my desk.

   leave(= 떠나다 / 남겨두다) > left > left 

   swear(= 맹세하다) > swore > sworn

   I swear + (평서문) = 맹세하고 (평서문) 이야.

   bookshelves = 책장(복수)

   On (명사) = (명사) 위에

   on the desk, on the sofa

Play + against (명사) = (명사)를 상대로 시합하다.

You guys played against the Runners, right?

   you guys = 너희들 / 여러분,  against = ~를 상대로

We played against the Japanese team.

   music book = 음악 책

   play tag = 술래잡기하다
