   In a While = 한동안

   I haven't exercised in a while.

   They haven't traveled in a while.

   for a while(= 계속해 옴을 강조)

   [phone] call = 통화 / 연락,  phone = 물리적인 전화기

   Wait + for (명사) = (명사)를 기다리다

   Please wait for us.

   Are you waiting for your turn?

 

M I'll give her a call tonight.

   tonight = 오늘 밤 / 오늘 밤에

   Give (목적어) a call = (목적어)에게 전화하다

   Give me a call soon.

   I already gave them a call.

   call someone(= 보다 부드럽고 친절한 느낌)

 

Z She'll be happy to hear from you.

   happy = 행복한 / 기쁜 / 만족한

   Hear + from (목적어) = (목적어)의 연락을 받다 / 소식을 듣다

   I haven't heard from her.

   I look forward to hearing from you.

   If you hear from him, call me.(give me a call)
